Job Descriptions

These position are available to those living on or off site. A full season commitment is preferred from May 10th - October 15th. This job is available to summer only employees such as college or local high school students. Please note anyone living on property must be 18 years or older. 

On Site Living Includes: All housing, utilities, access to onsite laundry room and detergent, use of all property amenities (swimming, kayaks, canoes, paddleboards, hiking trails, tennis, volleyball, basketball) when not working or used by guests. WiFi is available and free, but limited to areas of service on property.

Department: Kitchen/Bakery

Kitchen Cooks

Salary: $17-18/hr (Living On Site) or $19-20/hr (Living Off Site)

Bakery Staff

Salary: $15-16/hr (Living On Site) or $18/hr (Living Off Site)

We are looking for cooks and bakery assistants with some experience in banquet/large volume prep for events and buffets and working on a line in a la carte restaurants. Our kitchen switches between different foodservice operations during our season including basic buffet foods, a la carte restaurant ordering for dinner and brunch, and specialty wedding and event catering on site. Each shift includes a 30 min lunch break paid. Shifts available are during the day and night depending on that weeks schedule, but schedules are set 2 weeks in advance. Shift meals are available when the restaurant is open and staff are able to take food from any buffet meals during shift after the guest meal concludes. Non-slip shoes required. Aprons and chef jackets provided.

 

Requirements:

  • Basic knife skills and ability to use common commercial kitchen equipment

  • Understanding of food safety requirements. ServSafe certification a plus. 

  • Ability to read and execute recipes (Kitchen Manager is hands on to assist in teaching)

  • Ability to work 8-9 hour shifts on your feet

  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs

Dishwashers

Salary: $13.50/hr(Living on Site) or $16/hr (Living Off Site)

We are looking for dishwashers to join our Back of House team! This job is primarily to clean dishes from the kitchen staff from food prep and meals. You are responsible for maintaining proper sanitation and cleanliness standards in the dish areas, cleaning all dishes from food prep and meals, putting clean dishes back in the correct location, and helping with daily deep clean tasks as time allows. Each shift includes a 30 min lunch break paid. Shifts available are during the day and night depending on that weeks schedule. Shift meals are available when the restaurant is open and staff are able to take food from any buffet meals during shift after the guest meal concludes. Dishwashers report directly to the Kitchen Manager. 

 

Requirements:

  • Experience working with commercial dish machines preferred, but not required

  • Values cleanliness and organization

  • Ability to work up to 8 hour shifts on your feet

  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs

  • Values punctuality and efficiency in the workplace
